Janet Mirsky

I started painting after a lifetime of wanting to paint; but not trying until the age of 35. My life is now about investigating color and shape. Every painting that I work on has a new combination of color that continues to motivate me to look further. I paint until the colors come alive. I never know where my painting is going until I get there. The exploration is the process that allows me to grow and is my form of meditation. I plan to continue my journey through art for the rest of my life, now that I’ve found it.
